A&E TV Star Requests Prom Attire Assistance For Teens In Trenton Area From Community

Monday, May 9, 2011 (Trenton, New Jersey) – Trenton Detective, Veteran and A&E TV Manhunters: Fugitive Task Force starLuddie Austin is calling on the Mercer County Community for assistance with making prom 2011 for local teens of Trenton Central High School, a prom to remember.

Catholic Charities Mercer Emergency & Community Services (MECS) in conjunction with Veterans of Foreign Wars Post # 7298 (VFW) will be sponsoring a prom gown and tuxedo give away on Saturday, May 14, 10am until 3pm at the VFW, 293 Green Lane, Ewing. Donations are being accepted in the form a new or gently used gown or tuxedo for the students at Trenton Central High School, Ewing High School and Emily Fisher. Parties interested in donating are requested to drop them off at MECS, 132 N. Warren Street, Trenton, NJ 08608, between the hours of 9am to 4pm Monday through Friday. For further information, contact MECS at 609.394.8847.

Detective Luddie will also be taking time out of his Memorial Day weekend to speak with Trenton Community via the Boys and Girls Club on May 28th at a Fundraiser Event geared towards raising funds for the Club, as they recently suffered a cut back. The Fundraiser will feature Comedians and Entertainment for locals, including Detective Austin who is an advocate for the Youth. Manhunters: Fugitive Task Force airs Thursday night on A&E TV at 10pm EST/9pm CST – this week the US Marshal’s close a five year cold case based out of Trenton, NJ, with the hunt lead by Detective Austin. The half-hour reality television show chronicles US Marshals and local law enforcement as they hunt down some of America's worst fugitives. The show primary focus on the New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Force (NY/NJ RFTF) based out of New York City. The U.S. Marshals Task Force is responsible for the takedown of the DC snipers and other triple-homicide felons to major international fugitives.
